Okay, DH works at the Mill Pond in Centerport and he said Viva Juan's isn't open yet. He said they were supposed to open this weekend but haven't.
And as for all you 2WW'ers....you can have a drink!!!!! It's not going to hurt you now!!!!!
I will probably be in my 2WW by then also and that is not stopping me!!!!

I was planning the gtg but I got blasted by a few people on the NFR board a few weeks ago --some who are going to the gtg btw -- who TOTALLY misinterpreted my post!!  and so I was not planning to participate on the boards any longer.... but because of a few emails (thanks leighla, mrsmck, kathy and redstar) I have changed my mind, and to heck with the folks who want to twist my words around...
So we had planned finley's of greene street (i was there again this sat. and it was great!!) for 7pm this friday... I will reserve a table if you like.....

I don't understand what is going on. Why are people being mean to each other all of a sudden? I'm not talking about everyone but there has been quite a bit of drama recently.

I agree with Gerty....not sure why a difference of opinion can get someone to be 'blasted'. Perhaps, instead of reacting and judging a person, you should inquire more about their thought process. Posting on the internet, can make a person's opinion seem much different than it is. And if it is on the opposing side of how you feel, why put it down ? I think the GTG is such a wonderfully positive thing. I am not sure why the NFR saga is being brought up.

Yes, the GTG is a positive thing. which is why i apologized to Diane for posting on her thread to begin with.
but i also had to respond b/c as i stated, I was one of those who "blasted" kara..(and that is a term SHE used - not me!) I did question her thought process, but SHE never responded.
I also find it disconcerting that someone can accuse people of "twisting" their words, or "misinterpreting" something that was so clearly stated.
ETA: Kara brought up the NFR saga.

How did this happen? I did not respond because I went away for the weekend - had I not been informed by a friend I would never have seen all the comments. I am not on here 24/7, nor do I want to be.
I responded in a seperate thread and do not see the relevance here on this thread. I was telling other ttcers why I was considering not posting anymore -- but thank you for coming on here and reminding me why.
