Guinea Pigs

Does anyone have one or used to have one.. I am thinking about getting one and would like to hear some real life experiences.. Are they friendly? can you cuddle with them? are they trainable? ect.... Thanks so much for any help.

i had a bunch when i was little. they are good pets. some were loveable, some werent. i felt that that got to know me and when i would come into the room they would get all excited and look for attention. as far as trainable, i never tried so i dunno. u just wanna make sure that if u ever got 2 they are of the same sex because they reproduce like CRAZY!!!! as soon as the mom gives birth the dad is on top of her and shes pregnant again within hours lol. u have to make sure that u clean the cage every few days because if not the smell is horrible and u dont wanna keep them anywhere that u may need quiet time because they sometimes make a lot of noise.
