Guitar Hero Metallica for PS3 Assistance Needed
Can anyone give us insight into what we are doing wrong? ________________________________
am totally stumped. i bought the metallica game for ps3 along with the complete world tour set. i could not get the guitar set to controller 1, no matter what i tried. so thinking i got a bum guitar and contacted red octane and they sent me a replacement guitar. of course now i am still having the same problem. when the guitar and dongle are hooked up both red lights are solid and when i hot the ps button on the guitar it just goes to the turn off system screen but the buttongs will not let me chagne the controller settings, it just shows a dash in the upper right corner like it is not recognizing the guitar.
i am totally confused and frustrated.
i really hope someone can please help me, i have tried every troubleshooting tip. at this point i am having trouble even explaining the problem.
i appreciate your feedback!
thank you

sorry you're having problems. you might want to try posting this on scorehero.com - they usually are good with helping out in their forums
are you definitely sure that the controller isn't being recognized as maybe Controller 5-8? I had a problem like that when i had it connected and it was being recognized by the system but it was controller #5 and i had to use my regular controller to change the accessory setting to the # that the guitar was being set at and it automatically reset it to another #.
it doesn't have to be controller #1 -- it just has to be #1 -- #4

Thanks! We haven't posted the issue there, but we did on another site and we can't get help there.
We will try it after work tonight. It's too much already!!
