Gum & teeth sensitivity??
The past 2 days my gums are extremely sensitive. I have always had a little receding gum line on the sides of my mouth ( but has never bothered me) but the past two days while brushing it is like i am going over the nerves and they are so sensitive and it looks like the gum line is getting worse.
Is this all from the pregnancy hormones??? Is it common to happen in the first trimester already?
I have a dentist appt for a clean the end of August so I will def have him check it out.

Re: Gum & teeth sensitivity??
I am experiencing the same thing. The worst part is I am in the middle of completing Invisalign and it kills my teeth. I can't wait to be done with it in October. If I had known I was going to get pregnant I would not have started the treatment, but at least my teeth will be perfectly straight soon!!!

Re: Gum & teeth sensitivity??
totally normal.
i keep a bottle of colgate peroxyl in the house (it saved me wheni had braces) i rinse with it a few times a week.
also invest in sensodyne or some sort of sensitive toothpaste. much less abrasive than regular pastes
