GYN vs OBGYN while TTC
I am due soon for my annual exam. Should i be looking to go meet with an OBGYN or will this be akward becuase im not pregnant yet. any suggestions of good ones in Nassau. Im currently living in massapequa so anything in this general direction would be great. Do you pick your OBGYN based on where your looking to deliver. Thanks

OBGYN doctors cover everything - so i would pick one based on where you intend on eventually delivering, although keep in mind that your doctors visits will center more around TTC for now and all that comes with it.

I switched to an OB/GYM the year I knew we would be trying. I did not want to have to swicth after the fact I was preggers.

It does help to get familiar with the doctor that will eventually treat you while pregnant and when you deliver. Therefore, I agree that you should look into an ob/gyn. Good luck
