Had a doctors appointment and kind of annoyed
To make a long story short...I has to switch OB/GYN's because my doctor told me at my last appointment that she was retiring but wanted to follow me through for a bit b/c of my prior miscarriage. Okay fine. So I have an appointment which I thought was an ultrascreen. I get to the appointment, wait one hour just to be seen by the doctor. I have a lengthy conversation about my past history b/c none of my records were sent from my previous doctor. I then was put in an exam room and told to get undressed, which I did. I waited almost another hour to be seen by the doctor. And no ultrascreen. I was really hoping to see the baby. I did get to hear the heartbeat which was 160bpm.
On a good note, the doctor was totally fine with eating Feta cheese. I have been craving it so badly and was afraid. he said as long as the place is clean and it's refridgerated, it should pose no risk!!!
My next appointment is for 5/15 for another ultrasound.
Talk to you soon as I am running to go get a Greek Salad!

Boo, that stinks! Glad you got to hear the heartbeat though!

Are you still getting the ultrascreen done?
he didn't mention it. he said that there is some new kind of testing that his practice does and it consists of bloodwork then additional bloodwork. Not sure??

So you went to her replacement DR? How is he, she was telling me about him but I probably wont have to go until next year.
Oh by the way, I never had an ultrascreen done. Just a normal ultrasound in her office at 9, 22, 36 weeks, then I had to go for 2 or 3 growth sonos as DS was a big baby.

Other than the fact that I left his office at 400pm for a 1:30pm, I really like him. He has a great personality!!! Really funny!!
