Had a little scare today...
I was at work today and when I went to the ladies room, the was a little bit of pink there when I wiped (sorry! TMI!). I had been having a few cramps but wasn't sure if they were normal or not. I called my doctor and she had me come in tonight for a sonogram just to check everything out. The good news is the baby is doing great! The heartbeat is 150 bpm and we saw him wiggling around and waving at us. I cried! The pink discharge was caused by a small blood sack which is outside of where the baby is. The sonotech described it like a scab; when it gets irritated, it bleeds. She said they occur when the mom has been pushing herself too hard. So, I have to go back weekly for the next few weeks for sonograms and checkups just to make sure it is healing on it's own, which is what it's supposed to do. I also can't do anything strenous (cleaning, vacuuming, carrying heavy objects, sex  ). I can work because I can sit all day, which is good. I also can't travel so I had to cancel a trip I have in early December. Basically, I'm relieved but could have done without this little scare! I was so happy seeing my little bean though!

Glad to see its ok now! I am so excited for you!
I keep saying "him" for some reason. I don't know if it's because I'm really convinced it's a boy or because that is just what it stuck in my head. I guess we'll find out in January if I'm right! Thanks for the good thoughts, everyone.

Thank goodness everything is ok!!!
I have a trip planned for early Dec. too. I hope I won't have to cancel, but if I do.. I'll just plan a longer one for after the baby arrives
