Had a scare last night
This morning around 2 AM Jersey woke up and was staring at me with a very blank stare. When I went over to see her, I noticed she was drooling like crazy and was all wet from it. She was not moving much, trembling slightly and just looked completely out of it. We rushed her over to a 24hr. emergency vet. I was concerened that she had had a seizure. The vet took her temp which was normal and said that she seemed OK and that maybe she had an upset stomach. SHe had gotten into a few salt & vinegar potato chips (that is the only thing I could think of that she ate that was different for her) She gave her a shot of pepcid. On the way home, she pee'd in the car & when we got home she fell asleep on the couch and peed again in her sleep (very out of character for her). I was a nervous wreck all night just watching her. Luckily, this morning she is completely back to normal. Her adorable frisky self! So weird & so scary. Any ideas at all as to what happened to her, I wasn't completely satisfied with what the dr. had to say. TIA!
