Had baby 10 days EARLY (pics added)
well I went into work thinking it was braxton hicks/false labor pains once again to find my asst principal kicking me out and making me go home.. "I said I will leave but I will see you tomorrow"
I called the Dr to satisfy everyone and they made me come in and see if i was contractng...my water never broke..
The nurse put me on the monitor to see a HUGE contraction. Outside the door I hear the nurse talking with my dr. She said "she is definetly in labor" I was like "no I am not" (my mom was with me, my DH was at work)
Ok now my dr comes in and says I am 3 cm dialated and yes I am having this baby today .. I was like WHAT I AM???
Still in denial she asked me if I wanted to go straight to hosp or go home get my things... so I went home. My mom called my DH and said "shes in labor" So I went home got my things and my DH asked me if he should stop and get coffee... I said "yes, as we were on our way to hosp. " a few more contractions came...
I got to hopsital about 1230pm-1pm and found out I was between 4-5 cm dialated...
Still in denial I texted my coworkers and just hung out...
around 430pm I already had my water broken by dr, and was abut 6 cm dialted. My contractions started to slow down.. so they gave me potocin.. thankfully I got my epi after the dr broke my water. Within an hour I was 10 cm and pushed baby out within 20 mins.
The room was not ready as I went from 6-10 cm dialted so fast.. The staff was throwing things around...The dr. told me now to push and wait for him.. that was rough. My little girl came into this world at 540pm on 3-10-10. Weighing 6pds 6 oz.
My Dh and I named her Victoria Grace.
Her sister is so happy with being a big sister and I am so thankful I listened to my staff and mother.
