Had first dr appt yesterday
I'm a little concerned. Based on my LMP, I should be 8w6d.
The dr told me the fetus was only measuring 7w2d. She didn't seem overly concerned but she wants me to come back in 3 weeks to do another sono.
Now, i'm going to be a nervous wreck for the next 3 weeks.
Anybody have a similar experience?

Yes.. my dd measure a week behind than when my LMP was.. at the time i had a midwife and she accused me of lying about my LMP. Why would I??
Everything was good at my next sono.. dont worry, you may have just ovulated a week later than you thought.

i just came back from what i thought was my 12w4d sono, but they are telling me based on my sono it's showing a week behind. last visit was 5 days behind. grrr now i'm so confused in my calculations!

If you know when you ovulated and are confident that your calculations are correct, I would call and see if you can come in in a week instead of 3. I think that's a long time to have to wait if you're feeling uncertain. It could certainly mean nothing, but for me it wasn't a good sign. I don't want to scare you, but I don't think you should have to wait that long for reassurance.

Totwlly normal you just ovulated late thats all. I did the same thing with ths pregnancy.

Yeo one of my babies was a week behind and had a slow HB(99bpm) I am 27 weeks and he is doing great and even weighs more than his brother

Do you know when you ovulated? Based on my LMP, I was 8 weeks at my first sono, but the baby measured 7 weeks. I was 95% sure I ovulated a week late so that made sense. Even if you ovulated on time, it's also possible that you had a late implanter. The doctor pushed my EDD back 1 week based on that sono. Since then, the baby has been measuring 1 week ahead although my EDD hasn't changed. I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow. I hope everything is ok.
