had first night with Kyle- have a diaper change question
ok, so when you change baby you need to wash your hands afterwards..
how do you do it? it seems like if i bring him over to the sink with me I can only do 1 hand at a time???
Do you just use purel instead?

I changed them in the bassinet ,so I left them there and went to go wash !

I have purel by the changing pad which I use then move baby to a bassinet or bouncy chair and then I wash my hands.

Not to be gross, but I don't always... If he just peed and I'm not touching anything, then I don't. Otherwise I have purell on the changing table. Or you could put him in the crib for a minute. Also, my changing pad has a little clip to keep them secure. (Don't know if yours has that.)

I use the wipes first, put DD on the bed or swing then go wash my hands.
I would not attempt to wash my hands while carrying DD.

I have purell right by the changing station.
and Im gross too...sometimes I forget. Other times, especially during particularily gross changes, I literally feel like I am ready for surgery bc I disinfect so well LOL
