are you sure he's just doing that because you were already determined to not fine out and he figures you'll be there soon. I know its not really his right to do that but u never know.
on the other hand he may not know but i would think most doctors would find out regardless of the parents to make sure that they baby is safe.

I'm guessing he doesn't remember every patient's baby's gender, you know? That's a bummer for you (well, maybe a blessing in disguise) that he didn't remember

I asked and he claims that they don't record the gender of the baby from sonograms when the parents don't want to find out so it doesn't slip. He says that they only make a note that the genital of the baby is normal or not.

That's exactly what my doctor told me!! I cracked at week 32 and asked the nurse to look through my chart to see if the sonogram place noted the gender anywhere... she said no they don't write it down if the patient says they don't want to know!! I am glad I didn't find out.. I can't wait to get the biggest surprise of my life in 4 weeks!!!

morgan, when is your next appt? can they do a sono then? they did one at 35 weeks for me to check fluid levels they can easily check the sex of the baby for you since they are already doing it.
