Had my first experience with All American Burger tonight...
It was ok....Liked the price but the heartburn is killing me

Oh great Kathleen, now you have me craving it! I guess it is a good thing my brother is in from OOT, he LOVES the place!!!!  Definately need to eat the fries on the way home, once they get home, they are icky!

We recently went to the one in Smithtown and after almost getting into a fight with a girl who tried to steal the table I was waiting for, I was thoroughly UNIMPRESSED with the food (DH had been building up our visit for weeks!).

I think she means All American.
All American is in Massapequa. I went there twice, didn't find it any better than Mc Donalds.
You are thinking of American Burger Co in Huntington, Hicksville, Smithtown.
Love ABC...could never get on the wall though.

I grew up in Seaford and live 5 minutes from there now..love this place!!!
BTW it was on Hamburger Paradise last week as one of the best buger places in the country, I love it but to each his own..I was happy to see it on The Food Network!!
I got DH into it too and we go there every few months but pass it EVERY DAY!!

As soon as you got your drivers lic. you would go pick up all your friends and drive there. It was like a right to passage.

The trick is to ask for no salt because then they have to make them fresh. Then if you must ask for salt on the side.

I find, usually, that the only people who truly love All American are the ones who grew up on it. I also grew up in Massapequa and it was like a rite of passage. Go after going to the the beach all day. My stomach can't handle it like it used to. My kids love it. My parents still go.
