had the talk....updated with question below....
and DH is on board with TTC!!!  There are a few things that we would like to finish up in the house but we are going to start! So I will be joining you ladies (anonymously for now!!)

Thank you girls!
We BD on Sunday (which was our first time ever not "protected" ) and according to mymonthlycycles it would've been 1DPO so would that put me in a 2WW?

What are you using to determine your O date?
I have just been keeping track of AF on www.mymonthlycycles.com so according to their ovulation calculater I would've O'd on Saturday. I am very new at this!!

I'm not exactly sure how mymonthlycycles works because I use Fertility Friend, but are you checking cervical mucus or anything else? it sounds like MMC estimated an O date based on the length of your cycle. Have you been using it for a few months? How long are your cycles normally?
I ask because I usually have a 28 day cycle, which is textbook length - so normally doctors/software, etc would assume that I ovulate on the 14th day and get my period 14 days after. But I know I don't ovulate until about CD18.
If I were you, I would continue to have sex for a bit longer - can't hurt!  Also, if you can, try to get a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. She describes everything in great detail. A useful read whether you're trying to get pregnant or just want to learn more about how it all works.

I haven't really been checking for CM or anything yet but I do want to start! I think you are right with MMC dates.
How do I become a member of FF? It keeps telling me that my membership could not be processed and to have a friend invite me??
ETA: OK, I was able to register for FF....Maybe I will start keeping track there although it seems very complicated at first glance!

In addition to joining FF I would also invest in a box of OPKs.
They will really help determine when you O.
ETA: I'm not sure why you're having difficulty joining FF, I just signed up. I didn't have to have anyone invite me. I'll be honest though, even though I signed up for it, I never used it!
