Hair Dye question - Any Hairdressers out there?
I have been dying my hair for ever...I just do a root job every 4-6 weeks. My roots are starting to show and I feel so drab :(
If I dye my roots tonight (by the way I do my roots myself) can I get highlights at a salon tomorrow?
Or should I skip the roots and just go straight for the highlights?
I am confused and feel so gross!
Help!

My sister is a colorist - If you're going to the salon tomorrow, you should probably wait. -
Sometimes they can't immediately do one process over another depending on the chemicals .........and she won't know what exactly you used vs. what she knows is safe for your hair -
Why don't you try giving the salon a call and ask your colorist ?

why cant you highlight and put the dye inbetween the foils?
how gray are u? if its not bad or if not at all do this method.

No grey at all...I have brown hair and I dye it to blond...so my roots are growing in.
I made an appt for highlights tomorrow...so I guess I will see what they suggest...if my roots are dark and I just get my whole head highlighted..will that cover the dark roots??
Sorry so many ?'s...I don't get this stuff at all
