Can you get your hair dyed in the first trimester?

It's best to ask your doctor this question, many have varying views on it. My doctor told me it was okay, but I still waited until my second trimester and then only did a vegetable dye.

Some people do. My doc said wait until the 2nd trimester, so that is what I did. I read that there are no actual studies on this for ethical reasons, so docs have differing views.

I waited and believe me, I really needed it badly! Just got my hair dyed at 18 weeks and it feels great!
