Hair Falling Out after hitting head??
Has anyone ever heard of losing hair after hitting your head? My DD bumped her head on a table (she was underneath a table with her cousins and stood up before she was all the way out) about two weeks ago. She cried a little but didn't make a big fuss b/c she was so busy playing etc. Two days later I am doing her hair in pigtails and I notice a straight line that is missing hair (in the exact spot she bumped her head) and there was a red line in the "bald spot" Everyone keeps telling me it is fine and it will grow back. They all agree with me that it is "unusual" but insist I shouldn't dwell on it and eventually it will grow back. The red line has faded but she still has this perfectly straight line that is missing hair. As long as I don't do a center part it isn't that obvious but as you can see I am dwelling on it!

Could here hair have gotten caught on something when she bumped it and she pulled it out? I've never heard of losing hair from bumping your head

it was a metal table so we are assuming that it must've almost scrapped it out or something ?!? I know it is unusual
