hair loss
my cairn terriers hair is falling out she keeps scratching but i have bathed her and cut her hair and there are no fleas which i didnt think there would be because she is treated but the spot is on her lower back to her tail and the back legs it just keeps getting worse does any one know of reasons a dog loses hair not related to fleas?? i am going to take her to the vet this week but i am just nervous  i went away on vacation and left her at home with my mother for a couple of days could that be a reason because it has gotten so much worse since i left anyway if you have any advice i would really appreciate it thanks

It might be an allergic reaction to something. Please take her to the vet asap.
PS I used to have a Cairn Terrier. Looked just like Toto from the Wizard of Oz.

Allergies, even stress could cause the itchies and hairloss. Definitely take her to the vet.
