Hair loss after having a baby?
I am starting to get concerned that something is wrong...
The amount of hair I am losing every day is crazy, especially in the shower. I'm 3 1/2 months PP and haven't had a haircut in a long time, but is this normal? I normal lose a lot of hair, but this is crazy.

Totally normal! I was losing so much hair I swore Id go bald. It stopped around 6mos PP.

Very normal.....th hair was coming out in CLUMPS....DH asked if I was gonna go bald.....18 months PP and it's STILL coming in....

yep it's normal. i'm a hairstylist and i see it all the time. it happened to me too. don't worry it all grows back. all of a sudden you'll see these tiny little hairs growing. your body has gone through a lot of changes and it's getting rid of the old hair to make room for new hair!!

I started losing clumps at 4 months and it continued for about 2 months. I got a nice, short sassy cut at that point b/c it was much easier to deal with shorter hair clumps than much longer ones!!!

Im 3 1/2 months pp also and this week it has started for me.. its crazy the amt coming out. I also constantly finding in dds hands, so im afraid of it wrapping around her fingers. I remember last time it was scarey the amt that I had lost.. and only stopped b/c I got pregnant 8m pp.

I heard it's normal and thought I was in the clear until a couple of weeks ago. I'm 4 months PP now and I'm losing hair like crazy! I had major hair loss my first trimester too.

I'm 5 months pp and it ridiculous the amount of hair I lost. I swear I can make a wig for Shaylie from all the clumps of hair

Please ...I began to loose my hair at months PP Peter is now 14months and if is still *&() falling out..not as much thank god i have very thick hair. But the texture of my hair is so beyond gross... I did have nice bouncy curls now just nasty frizz I have spend so much $$$ on hair care products ...but I have finally accepted this is my "new hair now".. I just miss my curls!

I am a hairdresser and in my experience the worst of it is usually around 5 months PP but everyone is different.
It is normal and it will come back!

At least it's normal...but what a pain. I have dark hair and white floors in the kitchen...I am so tired of sweeping and vacuuming!
I might cut it hoping that it will help a little.
