Hair loss and bruising?

I had a baby almost 11 months ago. I still have a lot of hair loss which I know is common PP but at a year...not sure if that's normal. I also bruise sooo easily. There is not a day that goes by that I don't have 1 or more bruises on my body. They're never big...maybe the size of a penny. Is there anything that can relate these two together...maybe my body is low on something?

I have a lot of bruising on my upper thighs, and my hair , forget it, losing it like crazy. I think all the bruising is from the infant carrier, folding and unfolding the stroller, that sort of stuff. I am so busy now, that I am not careful at all, and don't really notice if I hurt myself LOL I look like someone beats my thighs up.

How long ago did you have DC. I thought it would stop by now...I thought it only lasted a few months? As far as the bruising I guess it could be that. I never used to bruise like this though...and I only noticed it recently.

DC is just 5 months now, but my hair loss only started when he turned 4 months and the bruising as well. it seems to be getting worse, and I think the bruising is from running around like a crazy person since I've been working FT now

Dawn, I'd go to the doctor and just have some tests run to make sure you are not deficient in anything in your body. That will help you figure out what to do next.

I am still losing my hair bad, but I have other things going on in my body. But I get tested every month to check how my body is responding to nutrition.

In my family, we also bruise easy, but we have a bleeding disorder so it has happened all of my life.

could be anemia. You should make sure to take your vitamins.
