Haircut... Buzzed or longer?

Both my boys need their hair cut desperately. My mom cuts them to save money. They come out great. A short layered haircut with bangs for both forever now. Well, Caiden, who turned 5 last month, has just started begging me to cut his hair like his friends Luke's hair since I mentioned Grandma cutting his hair again. His hair is buzzed. Now I thought about doing it in the past, but couldn't bring myself to do it. My kids have always the same haircut style. Not "bowl"ish but similar. It's always been cute. But now, Caiden wants VERY short hair. Would you go ahead and cut it short like that? I'm so scared too! I'm afraid of what it would look like, he's always had bangs, and if it would grow in the same if he chose to grow it in again. Nice thick straight hair. What do you think? Aaaaahhh! Such decisions? Thanks!

I would totally do it. I am sure he will still look super cute with a buzz cut.

I bought hair clippers for DS. I cut to 3/4 inch long. That's SHORT! He has curls in the back on his head but I love him with short hair and it's so much easier to dry and maintain.
