half my body is numb
And has been for over a month now ! my left hand and from the waist down is all numb ,and when I raise my arms past a certain point I get this shooting electric feeling from my waist to my feet  I am making an appointment ,but wanted to see if anyone has ever delt with this!

Did you make an appointment with a neurologist? Is your body numb all the time or only when you move certain ways?

All the time ! I don't know who I am supposed to see  a reg doc first and the get a referal?

The regular doctor isnt going to be able to help you. I would make an appt. a neurologist ASAP.

my dad's leg is numb for the past 2 yrs due to a slip disc pusing down on the nerve. He's let it go so long that it's beyond repair, so you should go to your dr. asap
