Halloween GTG
At yesterday's GTG, ladyofficer had a great idea - that we should have a GTG where all the kids come in their costumes  I think it's great - it would give them a chance to wear their costume more than once.
We could do it at Eisenhower park or other Nassau park with a playground for the older kids and grassy area for the babies.
Maybe 1 or 2 weekends before Halloween? Anyone interested?
UPDATE:
We'll have the GTG on Sunday, October 24th.
Suggestions on location? Cedar Creek is a bit far for me. There's Eisenhower Park, where else?
Also, should we pick a backup location in case it rains or is too cold? Or should we do a rain date of Saturday, October 30th?

I am in 100%! Have we thought of including the husbands for people who don't want to sacrifice their family time on the weekend? I know that is an issue for a lot of the working parents.

I agree!
That's a great idea! I doubt my DH will be able to go because he works weekends, but I think we should def include hubbies that can/want to make it!

I'd love to try and make it. If it works out on a weekend we're visiting IL's then Mason and I are in.
Only weekend that doesn't work is the 23rd. Going to Chicago for a girl's weekend to visit friends.

I agree!
That's a great idea! I doubt my DH will be able to go because he works weekends, but I think we should def include hubbies that can/want to make it!
Depending on the weekend I don't think DH would be able to make it. He will be in LA for business. But I see him enough anyway

For those that have mentioned a specific date you can NOT make it, are you definitely in on the other days? I don't want to discount any specific dates for anyone if they're not sure they're actually going, KWIM?
Also, I want to get ladyofficer's input on what days work for her since it was her idea

Definitely don't plan around us...see whatever date works best for everyone, and then if we're around we'll be there
