Halls or Party rooms?
Does anyone know of any party rooms or halls that would fit around 100 people...where we could do our own catering? In Suffolk County - Thank you!

Re: Halls or Party rooms?
I know there are vfw halls around, there's one in sayville on lakeland ave, but I don't know how many people it holds....whereabouts in suffolk are you looking? there are a lot of areas in the parks that have picnic benches areas, and gazebos, friends of ours had thier engagement party in the gazebo at heckscher park, it was HUGE-and there were tables there, they just catered it, chafing dishes, etc, and they brought in speakers and stuff-I mean they had to do it all themselves, but the had the place for around 8 hours, we had a blast.

Re: Halls or Party rooms?
i dont know of any but i saw your post about your moms birthday... i just went through the same things for dd's 1st birthday...
it definitly was better to get a hall than pay for tent, tables & chairs, bathrooms....

What about a firehouse? I know SIL and MIL always do their things at the Farmingville firehouse.
