Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
For those that use the Halo Sleep Sack Swaddle... (or something similar) during bedtime, what does your baby wear underneath?? I've been putting DD in a long sleeve onesie, pants, the sleep sack and a hat, but i am afraid it is too much. Can she go in just a onesie and the sleep sack, with nothing else on her legs??

Re: Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
I think it depends on your house.
We live in the attic, the room DD sleeps in has no insulation at all so it gets COLD up here - we wear sweats and socks to bed and sleep with a few blankets. I put her in a onesie and a fleece feetie pajama underneath
If she were to sleep downstairs, heat set to 65 in a room with insulation I would just do a long sleeved onesie underneath or a cotton feetie pajama.

Re: Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
DS is not swaddled anymore but I use a sleep sack. I am currently using Carter's sleep sacks because I like that it has fleece arms. DS wears a long sleeve onesie, pants if it is REALLY cold (my house is very old and can be drafty), and fleece pajamas (blanket sleeper) underneath. I don't let him wear a hat because of my own irrational fears that he'll take it off and he'll put it to his mouth and he'll somehow suffocate.
If your house is relatively warm at night, I would say forget the pants and keep the rest. However, if you think the room is chilly at night, then keep the pants.

DS sleeps in Carters microfleece sleep sacks Underneath he has on a feetie sleep and play. I wouldn't put a hat on him in fear as a PP said he would take it off and somehow suffocate
I also have a ceiling fan that I keep on low to circulate the air.

Re: Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
our heat is set to 65, DD sleeps in a cotton feetie pajama on a 'warmer' night and a fleece feetie pajama on cold cold night, in addition to a fleece sleep sack.

Re: Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
My house is cold so I cover his legs as well. It seems like it is super warm but just don't want to risk him being too hot. I don't put a hat on him at night. I'm scared it will pop off and suffocate him. Prob just being paranoid.

Re: Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
DS sleeps in either fleece feetie PJ's or regular feetie PJ's in addition to his fleece sleep sac. It just depends on how cold it is. My house tends to be on the cooler side. No hat, he would just rip it right off and eat it all night long!

Re: Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
Our DD's bedroom is the coldest in the house so we use the feet pj's and the sleep sack and she's all warm and toasty.

Re: Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
A short sleeves onsie and cotton pj's under the sleepsack. I think of her layers like mine at night---I sleep in a t-shirt, with a flannel sheet and then a blanket so to me that is equivalent to her t-shirt, cotton pj and blanket.

Re: Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
We keep the heat around 69-70 at night. I put DS in a cotton one piece PJ underneath if I put him in the fleece sleep sack. He has always been comfortable that way.

Re: Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
We keep the heat between 68-70 and she just sleeps in a onesie underneath the Halo fleece swaddle sack. I have tried to put PJs under it but she is way too hot that way. I am paranoid about her overheating/risk of SIDS. My ped says to keep them btwn 66-68 degrees at night.

Re: Halo Microfleece Sleep Sack
My son wears a onsie (lately long sleeved bc it has been cold) a long sleeved fleece pj and the sleeper on top. In the fall he wears the same combo only a cotton pj not fleece. He is usually a little warm when I first put him down but when he sleeps his temp drops and his cheeks still get a little cold. We keep the house at 67 degrees and I have a cool mist humidifier right by his crib. I change my combo accordingly if I feel the need (really cold night throw i blanket on top ect

I agree we just put ds in onsie and socks, but we cover him with a blanket and just cover him and tuck it under him
