Handprint footprint craft ideas
Hi everyone!! For Christmas presents, I am thinking about putting my soon to be 4 months old sons handprints and footprints on a canvas on a phot mat with a picture of him in the center. I was going to give this to the grandparents. Is it safe to do if it is non-toxic paint? Has anyone else done a similar project? Any additonal ideas anyone would like to share? Thank in advance, Jen

Just a tip I learned along the way that always seems to work the best with hand/foot prints.....Instead of having your DC put their hands in the paint and then putting their hand to the paper- Actually paint the paint on their hand/foot and then have them press it down...The paint is much thinner this way and makes a much better impression Yes, there is non toxic paint safe for this- check Michaels or AC Moore ...
Something that we have done in the past, is used a plaster of paris type material, and imprinted my DS's hand on it, shaped it round and poked a whole through to put ribbon on...We gave it to the grandparents as a Christmas ornament
