me too and every once in a while I retrace the initials. I label her bowls and plastic spoons the same way. I buy the throw away spoons that you can reuse too and its worked out great.,\

I bought clips that are compatible with the MAM pacifiers. The clip has a flat surface about as big as your thumb. I took a sharpie pen and wrote his name on it and then I took clear packing tape and tore off a size about the size of the surface of the clip and put it over the ink so that DS wouldn't get ink on his fingers if he touches it. It seems to work very well.

I didn't write on the paciifier at all but we have Soothie brand paci's so you can't really write on them anyway. I wouldn't anyway, I'd write it on the clip.

My SIL used a Sharpie Marker to put initials on everything.
Every bottle, bottle ring, and bottle cap LOL everything!

But she mentioned that recently they are making them label with the full name now, I can't imagine that is so easy on alot of things.... I don't know if its just her school or all of them.

I ordered some dishwasher safe labels from Easy2name.com. They are amazing, you just stick them on and they hold tight even through the dishwasher!

However at my nursery we don't have to send them in with anything other than their clothes...

My BIL sister makes a labe on a P-touch machine or something similar to that and prints it twice but doesnt cut it until the second time she puts lets say Luka S. and their is large space inbetween the first and second set of his name. Then she loops it through the ring of hte pacifier and it sticks to itself. It would really only work if you a brand that has the ring like the Nuk or Nuby ones.
