Hannah slept through the night!!

She must have been reading my posts about how tired I am and gave me a night of rest. I'm pretty sure at 5 weeks old its a fluke, but I'll take it. It came at a perfect time because my DH starts his late hours tomorrow and I'll be caring for Hannah all by myself 24/7 for the next 3-4 weeks (except weekends.)

I gave her a bottle at 11pm (she even left an ounce), swaddled her put her in the crib at 11:45pm wide awake. I still heard her cooing and grunting at 12:30, but I must have fallen asleep...the next thing I know its 5:30 so I glance at the video monitor and she still looks sound asleep, still swaddled (she usually breaks out in the morning) - so I immediately panic and think something is wrong. I get up and check on her. She looked so calm and peaceful I wasn't sure she was breathing...so what do I do - yes I POKE her. She starts stirring so I duck and run! She went back to sleep until 7:30!!!! Whew.

Boy do I hope she keeps up that behavior!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Hannah slept through the night!!

Wow - that's great!! Sometimes Lily will give me between 5-6 hours straight. She started that between 4-6 weeks, but I still get the every 2 hour thing some nights too (like the past 2 nights Chat Icon ) I hope she continues to give you great sleep. It makes such a huge difference!
