hannah wont take her bottle today
she has had 3 oz since 630am. she did eat her cereal. could this be teething related. she did have a big poop earlier, she has no fever and is not pulling on her ears, although she is shoving her hands in her mouth like crazy. this gets me so frustrated. i always get so nervouse when she doesnt eat. she is a light eater to begin with.
etd to add she only gets 1 tbsp of cereal in the morning and then 1 more at night.

Re: hannah wont take her bottle today
Does she have any sores in her mouth or throat? I know something is going around these days that is throat related -- but it's accompanied by a fever.

Re: hannah wont take her bottle today
the hands in the mouth makes me think teething.
it's ok if they have a day where they aren't into eating....
she'll make up for it later today or tomorrow

What if it's for more than a day. I'm having the same problem with my DS.

teething can be a weeks long process. DD has been teething for over a month.....and the dr said there are no teeth about to pop, but her gums were very swollen.

I don't know if it's teething. Once you take the bottle away he's fine and happy and shows no other signs of teething. Yes his hands are always in his mouth but he's been doing that since he was 2 months old.

Re: hannah wont take her bottle today
she took another 3oz at her 12pm feeding, which is a typical amount for her. so let's see houw the rest of the day goes. i did give her a little infant motrin (as per my ped) at 1230pm. she was trying to chomp down on anything she could find, so i do thing this is teething related. thanks for the help and i will keep you updated!
