When did DC hold their own bottle?
Marron is 6.5 months old and she can't hold up her own bottle yet, unless there is only about 1-2 ounces left. Am I expecting this to happen too early? What is usual?

Ryan is almost 6 months and doesn't do it either. Are they supposed to at this age?

Nicholas doesnt either. he tries, but no luck so far and he is 6 months. I wouldnt worry too much, they will do it when they are ready.

at about 3 months DS started to show interest in the bottle so I bought the handles to go on it. By 6 months he was holding the handles on his own and it was GREAT! I probably took the handles off around 10 months

Noah can hold his own bottle if he is leaning slightly backwards. Its great! I thought I would have to teach him how to do it, but he just did it once I tried it!

I don't remember exactly, but it was LATE!! Mommy2BellaBean gave me the idea to prop her up in her Boppy pillow and give it to her. It totally worked!!

My son is 10 months and refuses to hold his own bottle. Where can I get these handles? Do they fit on Dr. Brown's?

DS started holding it at about 4 1/2 months but it still drops out. I still have to hold it up for him

my 2nd son was about four months old when he was able to start holding his own bottle-and this is only bc i propped his bottle from birth!!!!
(i HAD to because at the time i also had an 11 month old!!!!)
Yet my 1st son was about 6-7 months old...i guess its all about survival of the fittest! lol!

About 3 or 4 months. DH practiced with her a lot (insert lazy DH  ) so he didn't have to hold it all the time.

At about 4 mos he started holding it for a little while. By 8 mos he could hold it the whole time BUT he's lazy and doesn't hold it all the time now (he'll be 1 on the 15th) but it's okay with me b/c i love that time we spend together snuggling while he drinks his bottle.

Almost 6 months and my DD won't even eat much less hold her own bottle! She ONLY eats when she's ASLEEP!
