hanukkah holiday swap**unpdate***
like our ladies on lifam celebrating Christmas, if yes what can we swap?
would you be interested?
****adding a few questions to answer, if anyone can think of more questions please add:
do you collect anything special for hanukkah?
do you go all out with decorating the house inside and out
do you use special dishes, napkins etc
do you light candles
do you like to cook or bake
do you like chocolate dark, white
play games
****everyone interested please FM me your address along with your name.***
Since no one answered any of the questions above, we should swap dreidels, chocolate, or anything small you find Hanukkah related. IF anyone has a different suggestion I'm all ears. Spend what you can afford or no more than $10-15.
please include your screen name when you mail the package to your LIfam friend.
I will send everyone an address by 11/25/15

How does a swap work if you don't live on LI (may be a silly question). I always saw the ornament swap and wanted to participate in one but obviously I don't have a Christmas tree....

Rachel, I have no idea how to answer, I guess the same if you lived on LI but it would be mailed to you oos.
Anew day, I could. I can FM the person in charge of the xmas one to see how they do it.

my boyfriend celebrates christmas, so i get to celebrate both holidays now:)

I would be up for this. I think everyone mails the gifts so it doesn't matter where you live! Just curious..would the gift be Chanukah related?? Or just something within a certain price range?

Last year I suggested SOMETHING like a candy bar swap. A candy swap. I dunno. But yeah, I have no need for an ornament.
It can be within a certain price range, not neccisarily Chanukah.
Wait. How about a dreidel exchange? That may be way too complicated????

Okay! I'm not OOS, I'm in NYC but wasn't sure if this was a meet up thing. Sounds good!

Ok so I would want to know who is INTRESTED by 11/24/15 as Hanukkah begins 12/6, this way everyone has time to shop and mail.
Anyone can part but it will be Hanukkah themed since it is a Hanukkah swap, if that is what my jewish ladies would like.
please buy what you can afford but no need to go past $10, as one poster mentioned.
I will post more later.. at work now:)
We can swap deridel as someone posted or other gifts.

Oops, and I actually already bought my swap gift but it's not dreidel/chocolate related but I can always use it for myself I'm fine with whatever. Sorry--I didn't see the questions!

Ok. I am FM'ing you :)
I don't need to fill out the survey. Any cute/silly/gag Chanukah gift is fine :) Even just a chocolate bar would be cute.
SOme of the stores have some really funny (what I call) crappy junky Chanukkah stuff out, its QUITE funny.
