Here are a few pics of my birthday girl.
Not the best pics as she would refused to sit still this morning. 
I am off to work and tomorrow when I am off we are going to the park together.

I am not quite there yet but I'd have to say it's normal how you're feeling. and also that your DH doesn't get it - also normal. My DH is totally like why bother if he doens't know the difference. Well I know the difference and it is a big deal to me!!!!!
I would probably skip the cupcakes to daycare bc I'd be afraid parents might not want their kids to eat it or they could be allergic. Then again my son is younger so what do I know?! I'd go by what other parents have done in the class.
OH - and Happy Birthday to your  !!!

I did the mini-cupcakes but you can check with daycare.
I would say given all that's on your plate, it's completely normal.

I would do mini cup cakes. Even though she won't remember, it's still nice to celebrate her day. Why don't you leave your camera with someone in the daycare so that they can take pics when they sing happy bday to her, if that's what they do when it's one of the kids' birthdays.

I know. I remember you, Moehick, anniegrl, prcss, 5ofclubs, and a bunch of other gals on the preggo board ready to pop right before I had Gracie. I cannot believe it has been a year already  . It flew by.
