Happy Early Christmas to ME!! :)
So my DH and I have been trying for almost 8 months now and we FINALLY received a + this morning.... I was still skeptical so I went out at 545am and bought the digital kind to make sure I wasn't reading it wrong and just got PREGNANT!!
We're so excited! 
Quick question for everyone.... I'm going to FLA in a couple of days to visit my mom and would LOVE to be able to tell her in person (i know it's early...but it's my mom...i'm shocked I haven't already alled her  ) Does anyone know if a Doctor will even do a sonogram this early? I would really like to be able to give her a picture....even if it isn't really of anything she can decipher!!

First off, CONGRATS!!! That is great news :)
My dr. did an internal sonogram right away, but every dr. is different. I know some wont even see you until 8 weeks. Can't hurt to try though
Good luck and have a happy and healthy 9 months!!

I'm really not sure....... but if not, you can always take a pic of a positive pregnancy test!

Congrats. As for the sono, no, you'd only be 4w and a few days along, you wont see anything, just a sac. No fetal pole, no HB.
You could buy a sono frame and put a little note in it "First pic to come in 3 weeks or so"

i dont think you can get a sono before 5 weeks 
but agree with the PP about taking a pic of the + test...that can be cute to give her.
