Happy first birthday to my boys (1 day early) - pictures, birthday letter - LONG
I won't be on tomorrow so I figured I'd post today. Tomorrow, my boys turn one. I can't believe it's been a year! Thanks to all for your advice and support, we wouldn't have made it without you 
Here is a bit of my letter to them:
Dear Christian and Nicholas:
This has been the best year of my life, and also the hardest. Being a parent makes you realize how fleeting time is. This year has passed in the blink of an eye. Now, you are one year old.
I will never forget watching the doctor put you both in my belly. Even then, before you were you, I was overcome with emotion thinking of the possibilities that lay ahead of us - the possibility that you would be my boys, my beautiful sons. You are the greatest gift that I, that anyone, could ever imagine. Although I thought I knew, I really had no idea who I was - who I could be - until you came into my life. You are my greatest joy, my greatest accomplishment.
Every time I think of you, I smile. Sometimes I go into your room at watch you while you sleep. You are so pure, so innocent and full of hope, wonder and love. I look at you and I feel like my heart might burst. My biggest hope and wish for you is that you someday get to experience the feelings I have for you. It is indescribable in its simplicity and its beauty. When you see me and your faces light up, you break into those huge signature grins - my heart skips a beat. Every single time. I cherish every moment I spend with you.
On your first birthday, and every day, I promise to be the best Mommy I can be. I want to always be absolutely everything you need me to be. And one day when you don't need me anymore, I hope I have taught each of you to be a good man.
You won't remember this first year, but I will never forget it. I will remember it for all of us. You have changed my life forever. I love you so much.

Just beautiful! Everything you wrote in that letter hits home for me and makes me oh so sad to think of DS's first birthday (um which is still 3.5 months away!).
Happy birthday to them! Hope you have a wonderful day with them!

CRYING!!!! Carolyn I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! Our babies are ONE tomorrow!!! We did it!! We made it through the first year with these bundles of pure love!!!!
Beautiful letter and they will cherish it when they are old, and so will their wives..  !!
Congrats to you and Happy Birthday to your gorgeous boys!!!!

I cannot believe they are ONE!!!!!!!!!! They are sooooo adorable!! Hope we can GTG someday soon, I remember when we had the GTG at your house and they were so teeny tiny still!!!
