happy vent lol
so i just got home from hospital...almost 24 hrs in labor but my best friend jeannie had her daughter this morning at 343 am
i was a bit worried when i was going up to meet baby thinking i would cry for the wrong reasons..
but when i got there and saw this little angel i was just happy..happy for them..she was just perfect and i knew in that second that one day it will be my turn..the smile on my best friend's face was like nothing i have seen her have before
as i got home and started to think bout how dh and i are approaching 1 yr trying and how we r beginning IUI's i started to get upset..then i stopped and said it will happen..do not forget that..
so as i go to bed for 2 hrs lol i am going to know that it will be our turn soon and we will get to experience everything she did and it will be just as amazing!
sorry for ramble..i am so tired lol..

congrats to her!
it sounds like you are well on your way to accepting the emotional aspect of having to do IF treatments. i never quite understood why people going through IF get so upset to see babies (i get being upset about preggos, but not so much about babies).
for me it was always motivation - reminding me what the overall goal was, cause during treatments its so easy to lose site of that!! it's so important to keep it in perspective!

I went thru something very similar. A few of my really close friends are pregnant. All of them were talking about how it only took "one time." I will admit that it got to me and I went home and cried, knowing we had been trying and would need more intervention soon. As I was crying, I realized that even if they had a difficult time like I did, it wouldn't make it any easier for me. So at that moment, I decided to be genuinely happy for my friends. And just a few months later, we are all pregnant together. It is finally my turn and it will be your turn also. Just keep believing! You're a great friend to your friend!
