I also thought the dress was boring & the makeup too plain. I know she likes to keep her skin on the natural side, but she could have use a lipstick with a little color or shine to it.
I did love the veil & tiara.
Kate's dress did look near white, but I am sure it was approved. I wonder if it was intentionally plain, so she wouldn't be the center of attention, or if she just wanted something basic because she just had a kid.
I did hear that Oprah changed her dress form ivory to pink at the last minute because she thought it looked to close to white. (BTW- why was Oprah there? Is she friends with him, or her

Bishop Curry was amazing!
The BBC commentators didn't know what to make of him! It was hilarious. He was so animated he almost knocked over a candle.
Oprah was on her side. She goes to same church as her mother in California.
I also think they don’t care so much about wearing white to a wedding there. That must be an American thing.

BBC had no idea what to do. It was not reserved as the British like it. I thought it (the ceremony) had nice American touches.

I watched in awe
My mouth was wide open and tears in my eyes! It was just a beautiful day! I know I sound super cheesy but it was a real life fairytale, not a movie or a show. Just a happy love story :)
Now ask me If I know anything about Meghan...nothing! I’ve never seen suits a day in my life. I did see her on Chopped once as a judge
And her dress was eh to me BUT the genuine smiles and love in their eyes was just so nice :)

Dress was very plain. I like how she added elements of her culture into the ceremony, however I think the preacher did go on for a bit too long.

I believe the veil had all the Commonwealth flowers on it. The tiara was Queen Mary or something. Very Art-Deco.

Question... I saw on the news this morning that all these American celebrities were there- George Clooney, Idris Elba, Oprah, Venus or Serena (or both) Williams.
Who are they friends with? Harry? Meghan?
I just found it strange that all these American celebs were invited.
I know she's an American actress but I always though she was more of a B list actress.

Serena Williams is supposedly one of Meghans best friends...as for Clooney, Idris, Oprah, I'm assuming they are Harry's friends, I just can't picture them associating with a C/B at most list actress. But i could be wrong!

YES!!
I am in the minority - I liked her dress. Thought it was simple and elegant. I hadn't even noticed it was "ill-fitted." I guess I see how it's a bit bunchy maybe, but just thought it was a little wrinkled from sitting. And her veil was gorgeous.
I also thought her natural makeup and hair looked beautiful.
I feel like they look happy and she seems genuine - but who knows. A lot of people I talked to have the same reservations as people here. Time will tell, I suppose. I wish them well (even if I am a little peeved that she has taken away my last chance at being a princess. Or a Dutchess at least. B1TCH!    )

Harry & Meghan's Wedding
I wasn't a fan of her dress at first, and was surprised it was so plain, but the more pics I see of it the more I like it. She wore a very fancy tiara and veil so I think she might have went with a plainer dress to emphasize those. And I heard she had the flowers from each country in the commonwealth embroidered along the border of the very long veil, so I think she wanted that detail to be visible and not get lost with a more detailed dress.

I cannot stand these overly contoured faces that don't even look human any more like the Kardashians or where you need a chisel to get the make up to crack off at the end of the night, and the tarantula fake eyelashes and scary brows.
So refreshing to see natural beauty.

I agree. I really thought the dress was beautiful. It was nice to see simplicity. I actually thought Kate’s dress, while pretty, was a snoozefest. I liked Meghan’s much better.
