Has any one weaned DC off a nightime feeding?
My DS is almost 11 weeks old. He was giving us some 5 hour stretches of sleep a few weeks ago. Then he got his first round of shots followed by a cold a week later and his sleep schedule got all messed up. Now he's waking up every night at 1:30 and 4:30. It doesn't matter when we feed him he's always up at these times. Thats only three hours at the most between feedings. He sometimes goes longer during the daytime.
We started a dreamfeed somewhere between 10-11 and we know he's capable of going until later than 1 after that. We want to somehow break his habit of getting up at 1:30. Has anyone done this successfully? Any advice!
Thanks!

Can you post his sleeping/eating schedule so we can make suggestions?
I would think dreamfeeding him later could solve it but would need a rough estimate of his nap schedule .

I think 11 weeks is a little young to wean off a nighttime feeding. We weren't told to do it until DS was 5 months old.

Re: Has any one weaned DC off a nightime feeding?
During the day he eats pretty much every three hours. We try to stick to an EASY schedule when possible. After 4-5 its usually about every 2 hours until bedtime around 8-9. Depending on his bedtime we do the dreamfeed between 10-11.
I'm not looking to eliminate the feeding just stretch it out. He was doing a 4-5 hour stretch pretty regularly a few weeks ago and now its gone.
BTW we do swaddle. And, even if he takes the 11pm dreamfeed he's up at 1:30. Thats less than 3 hours!! That's why we think he's waking up out of habit, not hunger.
