Just wondering how much this tends to run (ballpark).. We're not ready to do it yet, so I don't want to call anyone for a quote, just curious..

ETA: We have brick on the 1st floor, not siding. And there's no door or window where we would want to add it

Sorry I can't help. I also am looking for this answer. So I hear..... Door-$700+ dependending on quality. Labor approx $1,000 assumming no major complications exist. I imagine Atleast a $2,000 job....

Re: Has anyone added a sliding door (where there wasn't a door already)?

we did it this summer

there was already a small window there

It cost approx 2k including the (vinyl) door- we did NOT go with a Pella or Anderson or it would have been more

We did it. There was nothing there, just siding. My husband did it. I will ask him how much it ran!
