Has anyone borrowed from their TRS?
I am short tuition money this year and I don't want to charge it and I can't take out a loan.
Does anyone know of the penalties involved?

I think there is a fee. Like $35 or something I could be wrong. You do get charged interest but from what I understand it goes back into your account anyway so you're paying the interest to yourself.
It is fairly pain free...go for it.

I have- if you fill out the online app by tomorrow, you should have the money by Wed.
It comes directly out of your paycheck and you dont have to do anything!

Thanks! I really don't want to charge the tuition, so I would rather borrow from this and pay it back. When we sell our apt, I will be able to pay the entire thing back, I just don't want to scramble this spring!
