Has anyone bought cake pops instead of making them?
I'm starting to plan DS 1st birthday party and the theme will be Elmo!
I plan to do a dessert table and I really want to have Elmo (and friends) cake pops.
Has anyone bought cake pops already made? Where did you get them and if you could share the price, that would be fab!!
How stinkin' cute are these?!

Re: Has anyone bought cake pops instead of making them?
I looked into them and it seemed they averaged $2 a piece unwrapped and $2.50 wrapped. If you do not need a lot it's not bad but it adds up really fast.
I tried making them a few times and was not successful at all. They tasted great but the finished product looked sloppy. I will keep trying though, because for $3 I can buy a box of cake mix and icing.

I bought cake pops on Etsy for DS's birthday. They looked and tasted great, but they weren't cheap.
ETA: Etsy listing

OMG they make them? Have you seen the Sesame Street characters there? I don't know why I didn't think they made them. We get all of our cakes from Dortoni! Thanks! $1.75 is actually the cheapest I've seen too!

I am buying them for Tyler's birthday. I'm using an Etsy vendor and she has some great stuff although I like the Sesame ones that you posted better than her Sesame ones :)

Take it from someone who made elmo cake pops for her daughter's 1st birthday. They came out great but took over 4 hours to make 15 of them!! Definitely buy them!!!
