Has anyone contacted the Attorney General for a health insurance issue?
I remember reading that you can contact the State AG for a health insurance issue. A friend is having major issues with her insurance company doing things I am fairly certain are not legal, or at the very least walk the line. Has anyone successfully had the AG help with something like this?

Check out the Department of Financial Services. They deal with insurance issues.

NY AG Health Care Bureau The health care bureau investigates consumer complaints. Hopefully, they will be able to assist you with the matter.
