I got this e mail from him when he was my Dr after he got me prego.......
Just wanted to let you know that you were part of history. The 2008 Stats just came out in SART and my practice was number ONE in New York State for women over 40. , in fact we were number 3 in the whole country. Maybe there is somethin to those supplements and intralipids.
I guess I should also mention that we were number ONE for women under 35 as well. Not boasting just proud , we work pretty darn hard for that.

Ah...now this is where things get very interesting. I KNEW the statement that Dr.B had the highest stats in two categories in NY sounded very familiar. Why? Because my doctor, Dr. Tortoriello, was as far as I know the Medical Director of SIRM-NY in 2008...not Dr. B. Dr. B was the Director of the Long Island Office. The only office for SIRM that reports stats to SART is/was the SIRM-NY office. So...those stats are not those of Dr. B...but Dr. T. Its my understanding that Dr. T was the one that actually did the transfers/retrievals for Dr. B for his patients for the most part at SIRM. Giving Dr. B the benefit of the doubt, he should be credited with any successful outcomes due to his protocols..but to say that these are "his stats" is not accurate.
To be REALLY kind to everyone involved...at the very least...it is a shared stat...and that's being kind.
Also...this brings us back to the original point...no SART or CDC stats for Dr. B and 2009 CDC stats are available with 2009 SART stats soon to follow.

FTR: Dr B wrote this to me when he was still with Dr T and HE did my ER also.. I am sure he was speaking of HIS practice as the whole SIRM in general.. he was speaking of 2008 stats I thought that was obvious enough,... I hope that was not mis interpreted as anything else but what is was.. He was congratulating me for being a part of history and giving me the stats for "his" practice meaning SIRM at that time.. I love Dr T he was wonderful.. He was a part of my little angel.. Best of luck to you with him

No..your post was not misunderstood at all...it's just that a lightbulb went off in my head and you provided an explaination for a prior statement that only made sense to me when I read your post.
