Has anyone else's bodies completely changed...
But the number on the scale hasn't?
I have pretty much been the same weight - pound wise - for the last 2 years - but my body is competely different...
I know that muscle is more dense, takes up less room, so someone can be muscular, smaller, but weigh more than they look, but really? My number just won't budge.
that is why I hate weighing myself.....

well muscle does weigh more than fat, so you probably lost fat but replaced it with enough muscle that you stayed the same! The good news is you probably look awesome and can fit into much smaller sizes regardless of the scale!

Ladies muscle does NOT weight more then fat! Muscle is more dense then fat a pound of feathers and a pound of lead are EQUAL weight but not in volume. This is why you can lose inches but not pounds.

Thank you - I never say muscle weighs more than fat because a pound of something is equal to a pound of anything else. I knew muscle was more dense - but your analogy makes so much sense!!!
I still wish the numbers reflected all the hard work I put in - but they rarely do - the number on the scale always surprised people!

This is exactly why I don't like weighing myself either. I try to judge by my clothes and how they fit to see when I'm losing. I only weigh myself once per week but that's because I'm doing WW and I kind of have to.
As for how you look, you look AMAZING, Liza! Truly. You should be very proud of all the hard work you've put in.

Re: Has anyone else's bodies completely changed...
Yeah, it's frustrating. This is why I hardly ever get on the scale. I "felt" a lot lighter and decided to weigh myself thinking I "felt" at least 5 or 6 pounds lighter and BAMM, 1 stinkin pound. I know it's not supposed to be about a number it's about how you feel and your clothes fit but unfortunately it will always be about a number for me. Kinda sad.
