Has anyone ever done the "Wicked: Behind the Emerald Curtain Tour" (Wicked on Broadway)?
Its offered every Saturday at 10am....we have tix for Wicked (the show) on the 18th, and I was wondering if this behind the scenes tour is nice, or a waste of $.
Its $30/pp.
Here's the web description:
Get a special sneak peek inside the wonderful world of Wicked Saturday mornings at 10AM.
Now a magical journey awaits you behind the emerald curtain at Broadway's smash hit musical, Wicked. Perfect for groups and individuals, participants visit the exclusive "Behind the Emerald Curtain" Museum, which includes an elaborate set model by Tony Award-winner Eugene Lee and an up-close look at some of Tony Award-winner Susan Hilferty's costumes (with beautiful details that are not always visible from the audience), as well as some of the actual props and wigs from the show.
First you get a tour of the museum guided by cast members. Then watch a special backstage video from your front-row seat inside the grand Gershwin Theatre and have the opportunity to ask the guides everything you always wanted to know about Broadway. It's the ultimate insider experience!
Special note: Tickets to the Broadway show are not required for entry into the tour.
Thanks

I didn't do the tour but my bro's gf who is in the show brought me backstage and showed me everything, from the stage, dressing rooms, wig/hair room, etc.
I thought it was really cool and I would have def paid to do it if I had to.

That is SO COOL
I'm debating...our tix are for the 8pm show. The tour is only offered at 10am, and goes til 11:30.
That leaves us approx 8 hours to wander the city, have dinner, etc. I'm worried about being freezing, having sore feet, etc.

OK, I just called the Box Office.
You can buy the tour tix SAME DAY, right before the tour, for $25.
So I guess we can decide last minute, depending on the weather, etc.
