Has anyone ever gone to a party or threw one at K of C in Oceanside?
I am trying to find a location for DH's surprise 30th next month and am running out of options. I waited so long that most places are booked. Has anyone ever been to K of C before? If so, how was it? Any pictures?
Also, if people could recommend places in Queens/Western Nassau I would appreciate it.

Yes I have been to KofC in Oceanside, very nice place. Great service and food isn't bad at all! I've been to 2 parties there, had great times in both!

I haven't...but I have a recommendation...my mom threw my shower at the Elks Lodge in Lynbrook-they just renovated a room there and it was perfect for what we needed...bartender, service etc...she actually had it catered in and it was great! I think it was $350 to reserve the room.

what about a vfw? its along the same lines as a koc and they are all over the island. we had our eparty at the one in farmingdale and everything went smoothly. not sure of the prices though, can't imagine its much though

I know somebody that had their wedding there and I heard great things about it from the couple and their guests. I've been there before for a smaller party, in one of the downstaurs rooms. It was a nice place!

We had our engagement party there and it was wonderful!! We got sooo many compliments on the food and the place itself!
