Has anyone ever had a really bad cold and actually missed their period??
i have been as sick as a dog with a bad cold and upper respiratory infection and on antibiotics and a whole other bunch of meds. my period is a few days late, i know i am not pregnant. i don't even have the symptoms of aunt flo coming, has this happened to anyone else??

I haven't had a cold, but I am on antibiotics for something else and I am very late. I am normally between 31-35 days, and I am at 39 days with little cramps.
Antibiotics always throw off my cycles! No need to panic...AF will be on her way!

Just got off antibiotics and my period is longer then usual, so yes, being sick can throw stuff off. Hope she comes soon

Being sick always throws off my period. Even without medicine. In fact, I sprain my ankle a few months ago, and even that threw off my cycle!
