Has anyone ever made paella?????
I have invited people over in an attempt to make paella! I have been dying to have a paella party. I got a recipe on foodtv.com, but was wondering if anyone with experience had any tips to share?????

well, I know it should be cooked in one of those shallow broad pans...
the REAL paella (in the rural town in spain where it was invented) is cooked over a wood stove and has very few ingredients. The whole rice dish picks up the taste of the smoke... I believe there was no fish in it at all!
I saw a show on it either on food tv or more likely, the create channel (one of those mark bittman shows?)
