I make tham all the time. They came out great and have really updated their process, new albums, colors, designs for the pages.....
You could design one for hours with all the details!

I made one from my e-party and it came out great. I'm working on another from my honeymoon now. It is fun to do, but you can get obessed with the layout and text, etc, etc.
I think they are running a special right now on the album books.

made two for the familia this xmas b/c i haven't done my pro album yet.
the quality of the pixx are awesome, but the albums (book ones) are litterally books - the paper and everything - here's my layout:

I love it!!! Thanks for sharing. I'm considering making small books for our parents since they didn't want Parent Albums.

I made both parent albums thru Shutterfly and I couldnt beleive how great the quality was and how they came out.
The pictures came out so clear. And there is so much you can do to create your own layout. Different designs, different page set ups. Its great and was a lot of fun to do.
And I saved a TON of money than having it done thru my photographer.
$40 compared to about $1000!

I have made them on Winkflash & love them! I did 2 for each of my friend's weddings & now I am working on one for myself with all the candid shots that people took at our wedding. They are running a special now til 2/14/06 that all 9x12 books up to 100 pages is $19.95 plus shipping.

I made one of Ava and it came out awesome. We're currently in the process of doing our wedding album on there, as well. I just don't have the patience to scan the rest of the proofs!

They are all I ever do anymore.
I upload the digitals and make photo books. There are no floating pictures around, no sticky photo pages and the books themselves are so much slimmer an nice looking.
I love them!!

dh made a honeymoon album for me for christmas and it came out great.
we are going to make them for our family once we get all of our proofs.

We have made a few using different companies.
I made a vacation photo book using www.imagestation.com. It's a thin book (10 pages - 20 sides) but you can make it much larger. It's a permagloss book.
This one was $23 + shipping. The bright spots in the pics are from my flash not any issue with the printing. 
This one is from www.photoworks.com - and really like it  It's similar to a Kolo album but the pictures are printed on the page. This one was about $50 including shipping (and with 113 photos used - 28 pages/sides)
We used shutterfly.com for parent albums and gifts. I can even READ the invitation  It's 100 pages so I will only post a few of the spreads. We bought 12 of them for family members They have held up nicely but the paper is not thick like a pro album.
This is the honeymoon album I made with www.photoworks.com
