Has anyone given regular benadryl to your dog?
Someone at work said its ok to if they have allergies.

I have. My vet told me it was ok. It didn't really do anything though.

Yes, the vet said to when she had a mild allergic reaction to her vaccinations.

I'd call the vet but I've given Tyson children's benadryl to travel, not for allergies.
