Has anyone gone for pics at the JCP studio in Roosevelt Field?
Trying to decide between going out there or just sticking to the one by me in Queens for maternity/family pics.
Did you like the Roosevelt Field studio? We would be going during the week in the afternoon if that makes a difference.

We got Christmas portraits of the boys there. I thought they did a great job and the photographer was so easygoing and patient with the boys. She was great.

I really liked the girl who did our pics, we went for DD's valentine day pics. We went on a Sunday, it was pretty empty.

we took DS for Christmas pics and i hated the entire experience from beginning to end. however, i blame that on the time of year (height of christmas card season) and our terrible photographer who did nothing to motivate DS. she just sat there waiting for him to smile. hes 2 lady you're gonna be waiting a loooong time if you dont do something to MAKE him smile!

go early and not on the weekends. we waited there over 2 hours and it was a nightmare

I've been there 3 times. Two times were during the summer. I went during the week. I was happy with those sessions. Another time was during the weekend for Christmas - never again!
I'm actually planning on going again in a few weeks.

Thanks everyone! I think we'll try it out. We've been to the Queens one 3 times - two times were successful and one time was a HORROR because the kids were NOT into it and we couldn't get a decent shot, but not because of the people there (except of course if you count how long the wait was so that probably contributed to the kids being nightmares, but this was around Christmas time).

We did Christmas pics there and we were thrilled. They came out great, were very affordable and while it was a mob scene we didn't wait that much past our appt time.
